OUR TECH STACK: GO, Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, BigQuery, ElasticSearch & Redis. We are hosted completely on the Google Cloud platform and use Docker + Kubernetes for auto-scaling our load. We are huge advocates of micro-services and constantly pushing on breaking our system to additional pieces.

We are looking for:

We’re looking for a topnotch senior backend developer to join our small yet growing dev team. As a member of the core team, you’re expected to be fully hands-on, lead your parts from A-Z (architecture, implementation, and deployment), take important technical decisions, and ensure the scalability and performance of our solution.

Your day-to-day:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable web and data pipeline using GO and Ruby on Rails
  • Solve challenging data scalability issues
  • Improve the performance and reliability of our code-base (databases, web services) through continuous refactoring
  • Coach, mentor other team members

Your toolkit:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable backend services
    • Using either GO, Ruby. Other languages include: Python, Node.js, Java. 
    • Fluency in backend server development, expertise in relational databases and schema design.
    • Familiarity and experience with CI/CD, TDD etc
  • 2+ years of experience with testing frameworks, such as RSpec, Test::Unit, Cucumber and Selenium / experienced in writing unit and integration tests
  • Big Data experience  and Devops experience (Kubernetes) = an advantage
  • 3+ years of experience working in a start-up
  • A team player –  communicating, participating and helping 
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve deadlines and work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Silverback is looking for a highly motivated sales executive to join our innovative, quickly growing startup. As our sales team 1st hire,  you’ll fill a key role in expanding our pipeline and selling our AI based sales intelligence platform to the world’s leading e-commerce marketplaces, retailers and brands.

The tasks at hand:

> Responsible for the entire sales cycle throughout the whole sales process (qualified lead-> discovery -> demo-> pilot -> negotiation and deal closing).
> Articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects.
> Meet and exceed your  sales quota.
> Attend relevant industry events and sales meetings with prospects and leads.
> Work closely with Customer Success and Product to ensure successful sales and happy customers.

Skills & requirements:

> A  self-starter  with Hunter/closer attitude with expertise in new business sales and ability to knock down doors
> 3+ years of experience in B2B sales
> Previous  experience in inside sales (high velocity and enterprise sales)
> E-Commerce experience – big advantage
> Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
> Native English speaker
> French – Full professional proficiency – Advantage
> Ability to travel
